Giving You the Westercon Business
Thanks in no small part to there being no substantive business introduced to this year's Westercon Business Meeting, the Westercon Business Meeting minutes, video, and Bylaws as of the end of Westercon 66 are now updated on the Westercon web site.

Oh, and for the record...

It might be possible for me to be more excited about our Westercon 66 Guests of Honor, but I doubt it.

Westercon Business Meeting Video Posted
Yes, it was one of the shortest Business Meetings ever, primarily because there were no items of business passed on from last year or introduced this year. It only lasted as long as it did because we wanted to make it absolutely clear how site selection would be announced in Seattle and how we would handle the unlikely-but-technically-possible case of nobody winning the election.

Also available is the updated Westercon Bylaws & Business, including the minutes of this year's meeting and the Bylaws as of the end of Westercon 65, passed on to Sacramento for next year's Westercon.

Utah Wins 2014 Westercon
In an unsurprising result — they were on the only bid on the ballot, and there were no interesting write-ins of the magnitude of last year's election — the bid for Utah in 2014 (Salt Lake City) won the bid for Westercon 67. Details are on the Westercon website.

Westercon 66 Fan Guests of Honor: “The Three Who Rule” (Warren Frey, Steven Schapansky, Chris Burgess)

The hosts of Radio Free Skaro, possibly the most popular, most prolific and charmingly irreverent (but never irrelevant) Doctor Who podcast around. Since August 2006, Warren (in Vancouver, BC) and Steven (in Edmonton, AB) have provided listeners with their brand of amusing Doctor Who praise and punishment. A year later, Chris (also in Edmonton) was added to the team, and The Three Who Rule were born. Recommended by Doctor Who Magazine and voted most popular Doctor Who podcast by members of Gallifrey Base, Radio Free Skaro provides an entertaining and diverting listen for the diehard or casual Doctor Who fan.

Warren, Steven and Chris are regulars on the Doctor Who fan circuit, both online and in person at conventions like Gallifrey One and Chicago Tardis.
